Patrica DelSordo

Patricia DelSordo has been immersed in the cosmetology and theatrical fields for her entire career. Early on, she was proprietor of her own busy salon in Southern New Jersey and moved into theater via wedding parties, theatrical tours and film. She has been a designer since 1995, with over 300 musical theatre and opera productions under her belt.

Ms. DelSordo began her opera career with Boheme Opera Company in 1999 and developed a reputation for extreme creative stage looks in her fledgling opera years. With Boheme Opera, she has designed wigs, hair creations and makeup for various themed opera works and multiple productions, including: The Elixir of Love, Madama Butterfly, Il Tabarro, Gianni Schicchi, Rigoletto, La Boheme, Il Trovatore, La Traviata, Tosca, Carmen, Lucia di Lammermoor, Aida, Susannah, The Barber of Seville, Cavalleria Rusticana/I Pagliacci, Don Giovanni, Turandot, West Side Story, Die Fledermaus and Amahl and the Night Visitors.

Her engagements with other companies and productions include: Washington Opera (The Merry Widow), Mainstage (The Scarlet Pimpernel), Palm Beach Opera (Luisa Miller), North Carolina Theater (La Cage Aux Folles, Crazy for You, Oklahoma, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, My Fair Lady, The King & I [Lou Diamond Phillips], Ragtime, Jekyll and Hyde, Fiddler on the Roof [Paul Sorvino], Evita [Kevin Grey], South Pacific, Cabaret, Chess, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Beauty and the Beast, Music Man, Dreamgirls, Annie Get Your Gun, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, High School Musical 2, Sound of Music, The Producers, Cats and Les Miserables).

In addition to her substantial theater career, she has had long-time affiliations with the Philadelphia Mummer’s Parade and the Miss America Pageant.  Playing percussion is Patti's other passion.
